This CoP aims to gain a better basic understanding and knowledge in the “Additives for reducing enteric methane emissions” thematic area so that once this technology becomes readily available the advisors are ready to support its adoption on farm.

Objectives

1. Gain a better basic understanding and knowledge in this thematic area so that once it is readily available the advisors are ready to support it;
2. Try tools/methods within the group to help develop ways to promote CSF practices;
3. Generate a “rule of thumb/cheat sheet” that allows advisors to have the facts on the thematic area ready and practice using them;
4. Do role playing, to help the advisors carry out “myth busting” e.g how to steer a discussion back on track when a participant is pushing incorrect information into the discussion.
