Conservation agriculture represents the concept of agricultural production with the preservation of resources, which strives to achieve an acceptable profit, a high and sustainable level of production, while at the same time preserving the environment. It is based on the strengthening of natural biological processes above and below the soil surface.

Objectives

1. Acquire knowledge and skills about the concept of conservation agriculture as a method of adaptation and mitigation of climate change;
2. Determine in which parts of Croatia conservation agriculture is not sufficiently represented;
3. Define how to encourage farmers to introduce conservation agriculture to their fields;
4. Gain experience on ways to increase soil health and biodiversity through practical examples from agricultural farms;
5. Create materials to further increase the knowledge of advisors and farmers about the benefits of conservation agriculture and other ways to increase soil health and biodiversity
