CoP will focus on feasible practices allowing the poultry farms to adapt to the new reality (adaptation to the effects of climate changes / adaptation to the specific legislation / framework). The main interest will be on energy management, manure management and the potential evolution of the rewarding mechanisms.
1. To understand the functioning of the tools for estimation of the carbon footprint;
2. To select the most feasible measures to mitigate the carbon footprint, without negatively influence the economic efficiency;
3. To prepare the background for adapting of the poultry farms to the climate-related changes;
4. To be up-to-date with the climate-smart approaches.
