This CoP aims to gather existing knowledge to optimize irrigation recommendations for high-demand crops. Through various activities, Cop members will learn to use different technologies to provide more efficient advise to farmers. This is especially important in areas where there may be a shortage of water or where the energy costs required for irrigation are high.
1. Receive training in irrigation probes.
2. To learn about controlled deficit irrigation (CDI) techniques in certain crops.
3. To compare the reliability of the INTIA irrigation recommendation tool.
4. Training in general irrigation concepts.
5. Training in AI applied to irrigation in agriculture.
