The Community of Practice brings together agricultural advisors, researchers and practitioners to share knowledge and foster sustainable water management solutions. The CoP focuses on understanding how different technologies work and their availability, on legislature framework, on soil health etc..

Objectives

The objectives are:

  • evaluation of soil-water dynamics,
  • assess available irrigation water sources,
  • learn about legislative requirements, water rights, and environmental permits,
  • analyze various irrigation technologies, fertigation techniques, and water quality parameters to optimize application efficiency and minimize environmental risks,
  • integrate collaborative ideas and organize field visits to active irrigation systems close-by to observe best practices and share practical knowledge.
