Description

Strengthening the expertise of advisors related to the assessment and improvement of the soil growth condition by participating and organizing trainings related to assessment and advisory tools. Improving the expertise and capabilities of advisors for farm-specific advice in order to promote the introduction of climate smart agricultural practices by testing tools in practical advisory work and sharing information in a practical way, for example at CFD demo events.

Objectives

1. Learning to use the most important tools related to determining the growth condition of the soil and to interpret the results in a practical and farm-specific way;
2. Strengthening the expertise of advisors in relation to water management. Learning the most important methods and measures related to water management;
3. Improving the knowledge of different soils. Finding material to support counselling;
4. Learning to use tools and applications related to compaction assessment, such as Terramino;
5. Implementation of knowledge through practical examples (e.g. in CFD-demonstrations) in a cost-effective manner. Strengthening the expertise of advisors.
