Description

The first CoP in Bulgaria aims to improve the advisors’ knowledge on climate smart management of pastures and meadows with a focus on proven practices and technological solutions; the effects from climate change on pastures and meadows and advisory approaches and tools for farmers’ motivation. The CoP obligatory activities will be complemented by documentation and resource creation, peer review and feedback, expert lectures and guest speakers, field demonstrations and knowledge sharing sessions as well as a policy discussion group.

Objectives

1. To identify and describe good practices and technological solutions for effective climate smart management of pastures and meadows;
2. To summarise and present in an advisor-friendly way the effects of climate change on pastures and meadows;
3. To test and demonstrate approaches and tools for farmers’ motivation for climate smart actions in the Bulgarian conditions.
