Biogas production with mainly focus on farm based biogas production. Biogas production from agricultural waste streams contribute to mainly three important values for the society; production of fossil free energy, reduction of GHG emissions and production of nutrient rich digestate used for fertilization. In the CoP we will develop knowledge in both more technical questions in the biogas production as well as microbial and chemical understanding of the anaerobic degradation process.
1. Use the members’ common knowledge strengthen the advising sector in Sweden;
2. Incorporate skills like manure management, environmental permits, economy and forage production to the biogas development at farm scale level in Sweden
